2. China needs legal inspection of goods: some countries require export goods to be subject to commodity inspection before export.


3. Goods that require legal inspection in the importing country: The importing country may require inspection of certain goods exported from China. Inspection may be possible in China, or it may have to be done at the point of import.


In the first and third cases, it is necessary to have a good understanding with the customer in advance. If it is the second case, you need to go to the local commodity inspection bureau to file with a copy of the business license. After filing, you can directly apply for commodity inspection at the commodity inspection bureau.





04. What are the procedures for commodity inspection?

The inspector shall fill in the "Application for Export Inspection" and provide relevant documents and materials, such as foreign trade contracts, letters of credit, originals of factory inspection results, etc.; the commodity inspection agency will accept the batch of commodities after reviewing the above documents to meet the requirements The applicant may be required to supplement or revise the relevant clauses if found to be unsatisfactory.


02. Sampling


It is presided over by the staff sent by the commodity inspection agency, and samples are taken randomly by random sampling according to different types of goods. The applicant for inspection should provide the location of the inventory and cooperate with the commodity inspection personnel to do a good job in sampling.


03. Inspection


Inspection departments can use various technical means from sensory to chemical analysis, instrument analysis, etc. to inspect export commodities. The inspection forms include commodity inspection self-inspection, joint inspection, on-site inspection and origin inspection.


04. Issuing a certificate


Commodity inspection agencies issue inspection certificates to commodities that pass the inspection. After obtaining the inspection certificate or release notice, submit it for export within the specified validity period.

If the export packaging is cartons, the carton factory needs to apply to the Commodity Inspection Bureau for the "Outbound Goods Transport Packaging Performance Inspection Result Sheet", which will be completed in about 2-3 working days. After completion, the original must be submitted to the Commodity Inspection Bureau. According to this batch The number of cartons used for the goods in question shall be written off accordingly.
