At the same time, more and more novice players continue to pour in, paying attention to the shrinking growth of cross-border e-commerce markets in Europe and the United States, and increasingly fierce competition.

At the same time, sellers are gradually turning their attention to some emerging markets with greater development potential. In this way, the Vietnamese market with Kochi came into everyone's sight.

At a border e-commerce conference hosted by Amazon in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Anh, deputy director of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Digital Business (IDEA), recently said that Southeast Asia is currently the region with the fastest e-commerce awareness in the world.

Among them, Vietnam has become one of the three leading e-commerce markets in Southeast Asia in terms of market size and growth. It is expected that its scale will reach 20% in 2023 and reach approximately US billion.

VietAnh noted: “Vietnam needs to renew old growth drivers and effectively tap new growth drivers, including digital transformation and supply chain development cooperation, thereby improving Vietnam’s position in the global supply chain...Vietnam’s cross-border e-commerce potential Huge and this potential needs to be harnessed as a springboard for sustainable growth.”

From the perspective of policy support, Vietnam has always strongly supported the development of the e-commerce market.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam organized a seminar on the management and development of e-commerce in Vietnam with the Department of Industry and Trade of Binh Dinh Province. At the meeting, solutions to support online sales of enterprises and local e-commerce solutions were proposed.

There is market demand and policy support. It is natural that the Vietnamese e-commerce market is cheering for a full take-off under the previous favorable conditions. In order to seize more business opportunities, this market has also attracted many powerful people in recent years. Currently, Shopee, Lazada, TikTokShop, Tiki, and Sendo are the five most popular e-commerce platforms in Vietnam.
