Recently, Guangzhou Customs has seized a batch of Class 1 dangerous goods such as fireworks and firecrackers that were not declared to the customs and concealed in other goods in export freight channels, totaling 2,426 boxes and weighing about 83 tons. At present, it has been disposed of in accordance with my country's "Fireworks and Firecracker Safety Management Regulations".

According to the inspection instructions, Nansha Customs officers used large container/vehicle inspection equipment to inspect a batch of exported goods declared as "folding chairs". The customs "intelligent plan review" system identified abnormalities in the machine inspection image of the goods in the box and displayed it as Low-density, small-volume products are obviously inconsistent with the shape characteristics of ordinary "folding chairs". The Nansha Customs on-site customs officer immediately opened the container and inspected the goods manually.

After opening the container at the scene, a strong smell of gunpowder came over. After unpacking and inspection, it was found that, except for a row of plastic stools and sundries packed in cartons at the door of the container, the rest of the goods were all fireworks and firecrackers that had not been declared to the customs and were simply packed and stacked in cartons, without any dangerous goods signs and protective measures. , Birthday flame candles.

Customs officers immediately organized the evacuation of surrounding personnel, sealed the goods, and transferred them to a specific isolation site. Nansha Customs also organized an investigation on other goods declared by the same owner and company, and found 4 export containers containing fireworks and firecrackers.

A total of 2,426 boxes of fireworks and firecrackers and birthday candles were seized and exported, with a total weight of about 83 tons.

The current weather is very hot, and the internal temperature of the container after exposure to the sun is as high as 70°C. Fireworks without any protective measures are very dangerous at high temperatures. Any carelessness during storage and transportation may cause burning and explosion accidents, which will cause damage to production and production. Social security brings great hidden dangers to security risks.
