Attention sellers on the US website: add new policies! To create an FBA shipment, you must fill in the estimated delivery time
Nowadays, cross-border e-commerce is developing faster and faster, and consumers have joined the wave of global shopping. Global shopping is different from domestic online shopping, and its transportation time is relatively long.
According to the data, 68% of American consumers hope that the goods can be delivered on the same day after purchasing, and it should not exceed 3 days at the latest; Out of worry.
In order to solve the problem of logistics timeliness, the Amazon US station will gradually start to introduce a new required item in the "Send to Amazon" (Send to Amazon) workflow: when the seller creates a shipment, the process will ask for an estimated "Delivery Window".
"Delivery Window" means the estimated date range within which a Seller's shipment is expected to arrive at a fulfillment center. Beginning April 24, 2023, if you ship a Small Parcel or LTL shipment using a non-partnered carrier, you must provide an estimated delivery window when creating your shipment using Send to Amazon.
Amazon stated that the delivery time provided is only used to help Amazon improve workflow efficiency and provide sellers with more efficient warehousing and listing operations.
And if the shipping plan changes, this information can be edited in the last step of "Send to Amazon" before the delivery window. However, no changes can be made after the delivery window begins.
Amazon’s platform policies generally change quickly. We hope that sellers can always pay attention to the adjustments and changes of Amazon’s important policies, and take timely countermeasures to avoid losses.
