Shipping companies increase their deployment of intra-Asia routes and launch new services
Recently, Pacific International Lines (PIL) announced the launch of a new weekly direct service connecting South China ports with the Philippines.
From January 3, 2023, the South China Philippines (SCP) service will offer weekly sailings, covering the ports of Xiamen, Nansha and Shekou in South China, and connecting to Manila and Cebu in the Philippines.
SCP service port rotation is: Xiamen-Nansha-Shekou-Manila-Cebu-Xiamen.
PIL will deploy two container ships with an average capacity of 800TEU on the service.

Driven by healthy domestic demand post-pandemic , the Philippine economy is expected to perform well in the coming years.”
