In addition, some Central and South American countries, such as Brazil, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Dominica, Venezuela, etc., are all countries that can deliver goods without a bill of lading. In these countries, as long as the goods are unloaded from the ship to the dock, the rights to the goods already belong to the consignee, and the consignee can declare and pick up the goods to the customs without exchanging D/O with the shipping company.
Friends who ship to these countries, please be sure to remind the consignor in advance that the bill of lading does not control the rights of the goods. Please pay more attention to the goods from Central and South America and Africa.
