On July 25, local time, the European Council issued a statement saying that the European Council approved the regulations on "strengthening the European semiconductor ecosystem", namely the "EU Chip Act". The plan will mobilize €43 billion in public and private investment (of which €3.3 billion comes from the EU budget), with the goal of doubling the EU's share of the global semiconductor market from 10% today to at least 20% by 2030. The legislative bill has been passed after the European Council approved the European Parliament's position on the same day. According to foreign media reports, Amazon has installed package lockers in Portugal to facilitate customers to pick up their goods at any time after purchasing online. But currently, the e-commerce giant has only deployed parcel lockers in Lisbon and Porto. According to sources, Amazon will deploy in other parts of the country in the future.

To access the list of package lockers, just log into your Amazon ES account, click "Your Address," and then "Add Address," Amazon says. Currently, Amazon has a total of 12 parcel lockers in Lisbon and only three in Porto. The e-commerce giant's parcel lockers are 38-122 centimeters off the ground, which is good for people with mobility issues, the report said.

However, the free use of the parcel locker is only available for books with an order value of more than 19 euros or for goods with an order value of more than 35 euros. This pickup service is free for Prime members. Once the package arrives at the locker, the user will have three business days to pick it up.
