what is""Take care"

In the logistics industry, "pallet" refers to "pallet". Palletizing in logistics refers to packaging a certain amount of scattered goods into packages to facilitate loading and unloading, reduce cargo damage, improve packing efficiency, and reduce logistics costs. The form of pallet - that is, the process of turning bulk goods into palletized goods (Palletization).

In international logistics, pallets are often required for cargo transportation. So, what are the benefits of palletizing and what precautions should be taken?

02

Advantages of palletizing

The purpose and benefits of palletizing are: to reduce the number of loose goods and reduce the probability of cargo loss (after all, the probability of losing a pallet is much lower than the probability of losing a small box of goods). Moreover, after being palletized, the overall cargo will be more secure. It's sturdy, so you don't have to worry about the goods deforming.

Of course, after the goods are palletized, the space utilization rate when stacking the goods will also be reduced. But it can reduce the time of stocking up. Because you can directly use a forklift to put the goods into the container.

How to make a pallet

first step:The first is the preparation of materials: pallets, stretch film, and packing tape.

Step two:The second step is for workers to code the goods: divide the coded goods into 4 flowers, 5 flowers, 6 flowers, etc., and make appropriate distribution according to the proportion of goods and pallets.

Step three:Finally, there is the wrapping tape (if the customer needs it): it can fix the goods so that they will not fall apart, and it can also prevent moisture. The most important thing is to facilitate loading and unloading.

Precautions when making pallets

1. The cargo labels on the pallet should face outward so that the barcode on each carton can be scanned without moving.

2. When using a cargo pallet, the forks of the pallet should be in a place that facilitates the turnover and transportation of the equipment to coordinate with the use of the equipment.

3. When stacking goods, it is not recommended to exceed the edge of the pallet. Try to choose a pallet with a size and type that is more suitable for the product;

4. Do not use damaged or unknown pallets.

5. When multiple goods of different categories are shipped on a pallet, pack the goods separately so that errors are not easily caused when receiving the goods. It is recommended to put signs indicating different types of goods.

6. It is recommended to stack the heaviest goods at the bottom of the cargo pallet.

7. Do not let the carton exceed the edge of the pallet.

8. The pallet must be placed close to the standard height to allow for pallet gaps and stacking opportunities.

9. Use stretch film to support the cartons and ensure that the stretch film completely covers the goods on the pallet. This can prevent the moving goods from falling during transportation and ensure that the stacked pallets are stable during transportation.
