Yantian Port aims at ports along the Yangtze River
On January 14, Qiao Hongwei, vice president of Shenzhen Yantian Port Group Co., Ltd. and chairman of Shenzhen Yantian Port Co., Ltd., led a delegation to Changde City to investigate and implement the development strategy cooperation of Changde Port. The deputy secretary of the Changde Municipal Party Committee and mayor Zou Wenhui met with Qiao Hongwei and his party.
At the symposium, the two parties exchanged views on the preliminary work and arrangements for the next stage of the Changde Port construction. Since the signing of a strategic development framework cooperation agreement between the People’s Government of Changde City and Shenzhen Yantian Port Group on November 4 last year, the work teams of the two parties have been closely connected, and the preparation of Changde Port’s general regulations and environmental assessments, freight wharves and sand and gravel distribution centers, etc. have moved forward rapidly .
Qiao Hongwei said that Yantian Port Group will follow the positioning of a first-class inland port and promote the construction of Changde's "One City, One Port" with high standards. Yantian Port Group will set up a special work class to follow up and implement various strategic cooperation, and accelerate the advancement of the preliminary work and construction of the project. It is hoped that through the joint efforts of both parties, Changde Port will accelerate the improvement of cargo handling capacity and industrial agglomeration during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period.
Zou Wenhui said that the Changde Municipal Party Committee and Government will deploy the construction and development of Changde Port as a fundamental and strategic important task to support future development. We will fully support and cooperate, adhere to the market-oriented legalization direction and high-quality development requirements, do a good job in resource integration, asset disposal and other preliminary work, use resources more efficiently, and quickly advance the construction and development of Changde Port in accordance with the timetable agreed by both parties.
