According to foreign media reports, recently, Amazon's US delivery drivers have expanded the scope of strike activities to warehouses in California's Central Valley (OAK4).
The striking drivers demanded that Amazon stop unfair labor practices, reinstate the illegally fired Palmdale employees, recognize the Truckers union, recognize contracts negotiated by workers, and negotiate with the Teamsters to address low wages and Hazardous working conditions issues. If Amazon does not resolve, then they will continue to expand the scope of the strike.
It is reported that as of now (a seven-week strike), they have expanded the scope of strikes to 10 Amazon warehouses, including ONT1, BDL3, DCB4, DDT6, ONT5, DPS5, ATL6, OAK5/OAK7, etc., covering California, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Michigan and Georgia.
