China-EU economic and trade exchanges have added a new bridge! CMA CGM Paris-Guangzhou new route opened!
CMA CGM Air Cargo Company opened a new route between Paris, France and Guangzhou, China. It has recently taken off from Charles de Gaulle Airport with a full load of cargo, and landed at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, successfully completing its maiden flight.

The route is scheduled to run three times a week on an unspecified aircraft. The opening of this route is expected to increase the international cargo throughput of Baiyun Airport by more than 20,000 tons per year. The goods transported on this route mainly include e-commerce commodities, electronic products and fresh cold chain commodities.

In October last year, CMA CGM Cargo launched a route from Hong Kong to Paris. In February this year, a regular flight from Paris to Shanghai was launched. The official opening of the Guangzhou-Paris route marks another strategic layout of CMA CGM Cargo in China, expanding its business network in important destination cities.
Currently, Baiyun Airport is undergoing expansion. It is estimated that by 2025, the total area of its freight terminal will exceed 1 million square meters, and the terminal cargo handling capacity will reach 6 million tons.
