What is the "telephone discharge" often said in foreign trade?
Telex release is different from the traditional delivery of goods with the original bill of lading. Telex release means that after the goods are shipped, the customer requests and issues a letter of guarantee. Notify its agent at the port of destination by fax or telegram to deliver the transported goods to the consignee designated by the shipper.
Under the telex release method, the carrier does not issue the original bill of lading, but generally issues a copy of the bill of lading or a copy of the bill of lading. It is worth noting that a letter of guarantee written by the customer must be obtained before telex release! This is the basis for future verification of problems and the proof of the shipping company's exemption.
