Hutchison Ports YANTIAN (YANTIAN) has taken proactive measures to steadily resume normal terminal operations

Sunny Worldwide Logistics has just received the newest news from Yantian International Container Terminal(YICT),and was so glad that it is gradually back to the normal operations.Here is the official report.

With the full support of relevant government authorities and on the premise of strict epidemic prevention, Hutchison Ports YANTIAN (YANTIAN) has taken proactive measures to steadily resume normal terminal operations.
 
Ø  Since today (June 15), the operation of YANTIAN has returned to approximately 70% of its normal levels;
 
Ø  Yard density has dropped significantly to 70%, regaining the more desirable level;
 
Ø  From 00:00 on June 15, export laden containers with ETA-7 (within 7 days of the vessel’s ETA) will be accepted. The number of gate-in tractors will be increased to 8,000 per day, and the number is estimated to increase.
 
We believe that with the efforts and support of all parties, YANTIAN is able to restore normal operating levels as soon as possible. It is projected that full operations will be basically regained in the last week of June.
