Recently, major shipping companies have announced that they will adjust freight rates on Asia-Europe routes.
On October 14, MSC, the world's largest shipping company, announced that it would launch a new Diamond Class (DT) freight rate for exports from Asia to Europe.
The new rates are from November 1, 2024, but no later than November 14, 2024, from all Asian ports (including Japan, South Korea and Southeast Asia) to Northern Europe, and are in US dollars unless otherwise stated.

Prior to this, Maersk and Hapag-Lloyd also issued announcements that they would gradually increase freight rates on Asian routes.
