Samira Samira 2025-02-27 11:43:42

Sunny Worldwide LogisticsIt is a logistics company with more than 20 years of transportation experience, focusing on markets such as Europe, America, Canada, Australia, Southeast Asia, etc., and is more than the owner of the cargo owner.

On February 24, the United States continued to increase sanctions on Iran's oil sales network, and many shipping companies and multiple ships were included in the OFAC's Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) list.

On the same day, the U.S. Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and the State Department included multiple entities and ships from multiple countries on the SDN list in accordance with Executive Orders No. 13902 and No. 13846 for Iran's oil and petrochemical industry.

Including oil brokers in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Hong Kong, tanker operators and managers in India and China, heads of Iranian national Iranian oil companies and Iranian oil terminal companies, etc.

This round of sanctions is the second round of sanctions against Iranian oil sales since Trump issued a memorandum of national security on February 4, 2025.

According to Shipping World Network, Tankers International pointed out in its latest report that the transportation volume of sanctioned VLCC crude oil in the Middle East has doubled, a trend reflecting a significant change in crude oil exports in the region.

However, if the United States increases sanctions on Iran's oil industry, this phenomenon may reverse.
