According to CCTV News client, Masila TV, controlled by the Houthi armed forces in Yemen, reported on July 21 that the Israeli Air Force launched a series of air strikes on the Port of Hodeida, Yemen on the same day. The crackdown on Houthi was further intensified.

The operation is another attack since July 6, making the Port of Hodeida, which was originally interrupted in operations.

Israeli Defense Minister Itzhak Katz said the military is vigorously cracking down on any attempt to restore previous attacks on Israeli infrastructure.

Katz also said that Yemeni Houthi armed forces will pay a heavy price for launching missiles at Israel, and Israel will continue to take any strike action at any time and anywhere. Even further threats were issued, saying that Yemen's fate would be the same as that of Tehran, the capital of Iran, which seemed to suggest that the Israeli army may launch a larger air strike on Yemen in the future.

The Israel Defense Forces said the port of Hodeida was used to assist Iran in delivering weapons to the Houthi forces, which were subsequently used to attack Israel and its allies. The Port of Hodeida has been crucial to Yemen's trade and humanitarian supply routes, and has been the focus of the conflict due to its strategic importance and Houthi control.

Houthi-controlled Al-Masirah TV confirmed the attack on the port, but did not provide further details. A Houthi security official, who asked not to be named, told AFP that the attack destroyed a dock that had been rebuilt after it was previously bombed.

Previously, on July 6, Israel launched the most violent air strikes on the ports of Hodeida and Salif under the control of the Houthi armed forces in Yemen. Satellite images show that the attack caused serious damage to the two ports, and some terminals of the ports were damaged, and the degree of damage to the terminals of the Salif port was similar.

Lowe's Daily ship tracking data and European Space Agency satellite images show that no ships entered and exited the two ports from July 6 to July 13. Previously, the two Red Sea ports were damaged many times in Israeli attacks. The attack in May this year caused a six-day hiatus to be inbound and outbound trade traffic, and Salif was interrupted for more than two weeks.

Although the scale of the attack is not large, it shows that the mutual revenge between the two sides is still fiercely continuing and escalating. It can be said that as long as Gaza does not stop conflict for a day, the situation in the entire region will continue to be affected.

Just a few days ago, Israel's Red Sea port, Eilat, was also attacked by Houthi drones. Meanwhile, the Israel Ports and Shipping Authority said that the Port of Eilat will be permanently closed on July 20. Because the severe blockade of the Serbian armed forces actually paralyzed the operations of the Port of Eilat and the financial situation continued to deteriorate.

The Houthi reiterated that it would continue to combat Israel-related ships in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea, including ships that "had traded with Israeli ports."

After this Israeli attack on the Houthi forces, the Houthi forces may attack Israel again in recent days, and the Houthi forces in Yemen may also increase the possibility of harassing international ships passing through the Red Sea region. The situation in the Red Sea may deteriorate sharply again...
