Sunny Worldwide LogisticsIt is a logistics company with more than 20 years of transportation experience, specializing in Europe, the United States, Canada, Australia, Southeast Asia, etc., and is more of a cargo owner than a cargo owner~

1. Opening time

During the opening time, after the cargo owner has booked the space, the shipping company will release the s/o to the cargo owner, with the dates specified on it, so that the cargo owner can arrange to pick up the container and load the cargo. The opening time refers to the earliest time when empty containers can be picked up. If the opening time has not yet arrived, empty containers cannot be picked up at the terminal or the location designated by the shipping company.

2. Feed cutting time

The material cut-off time, also known as the document cut-off time, is the latest time for the shipper to submit the information required for making a bill of lading to the shipping company. That is the time when the shipping company last changes the bill of lading format. Before that, the bill of lading format and information can be modified multiple times. After that, bill of lading modifications will incur bill modification fees. There is no standard for this time, and each shipping company is different. Some are open. The ship date is sometimes within a week after sailing. If the bill of lading and materials cannot be submitted to the shipping company in time during this time, you can apply to the shipping company for SI Late Come, that is, apply for an extension of the material cut-off time. Generally, the shipping company will extend the time for a few hours to the shipper.

S/I CLOSING is a special requirement of the American Line, which is different from other routes. The freight forwarder must report the cargo and other information to the carrier 48 hours before sailing. The carrier must report the cargo information to the U.S. Customs through the AMS system 24 hours before sailing, and must provide the real owner and consignee to the U.S. Customs.

AMS --America manifest system---American warehouse receipt system, also known as anti-terrorism manifest fee and information fee. Goods imported into the United States (from all over the world) need to provide this data, which is provided to the U.S. Customs, including the specific body of the goods, the real consignee and consignor, and the product name in Chinese and English. It is generally required to be completed one day before the customs cutoff.

3. Cut-off time

The customs cut-off time includes the time for cutting off heavy containers at the terminal and the time for cutting and releasing traffic strips

A. Closing time, also known as Closing Time in English, is the time when the terminal closes the collection of heavy containers. (That is, it refers to the latest time to return the container after loading the goods) This means that after this time, the shipping company will no longer arrange for the container to be returned after this time for the voyage. That is, heavy containers cannot be delivered to the terminal, let alone Shipped.

B. The interception and release note refers to the latest time for the shipping company to accept the customs release note (the latest is usually within six hours after the weight container is intercepted, which is the buffer time). The goods must be declared and released before this time, and the customs release slip must be submitted to the shipping company. After this time, the shipping company will not accept the release note for the goods on this voyage, and the goods will not be able to board the voyage.

1) The release slip is a release voucher given by the customs after release. If the customs release slip is submitted after this time, the shipping company will regard the goods as having failed to clear customs and will not be allowed to board the ship. At this time, even if the heavy container has been returned to the dock, it can only be postponed until the next ship; of course, this will incur considerable expenses, including order change fees, storage yard rental and document fees.

2) If the customs is closed on the same day, the customs inspection rate for goods declared on the same day is very high. Generally, experienced freight forwarders will advise the shipper to delay customs declaration to the next ship in this case, otherwise the inspection will be carried out at that time. The locker fee, ship name change fee, and cabin rental and locker rental costs will take a long time.

3) If you are unable to meet the customs cut-off time, you can also apply for CY LateCome to the shipping company in advance. The shipping company may allow the heavy container to be delivered a few hours late. But sometimes the shipping company does not agree to extend the time to the shipper. When making customs declaration in Shenzhen, you must return the heavy container and have the heavy container paper before you can arrange customs declaration. It is best to return the container for weighing half a day to more than a day before the weighing cut-off. The order is to cut off the weight container, cut off the customs, and cut off the release strip.

4. Customs interception and release time

It is the date of the final collection and shipment order (commonly known as the release note) given by the shipping company! The port area usually starts sorting out the customs clearance station receipts and preparing the ship a few hours before the ship leaves! This time is also the cut-off time!

It's like taking a train. Cutting off the weight counter is equivalent to the time until the ticket is checked and entering the station. Cutting off the ticket is equivalent to the time when the train conductor cuts off the passengers to board the train and have to wait for the next train.
